1. General
The following terms and conditions (“Membership Terms”) are valid between you and Amiko and Friends (“Amiko & Friends,” “us,” “we”) and apply to your subscription to the services of Amiko & Friends (“the Service”).

By becoming a member, you confirm that you have read the Membership Terms and that you accept to be bound by them. Before you accept the Membership Terms, you shall also read and understand our Privacy Policy [LINK].

Amiko & Friends reserves the right to revise the Membership Terms at any time. The date of the latest update is found in the final section of the Membership Terms.

2. Membership
Amiko & Friends is a paid membership. As a member of Amiko & Friends, you will gain exclusive access to purchase responsibly crafted equestrian clothing, gear and accessories with high quality and design to significantly lower prices than comparable products and brands. Additionally, you will receive regular updates regarding products, services, and general information from Amiko & Friends.

To become a member, you must be a resident within the EU, US or UK and at least 20 years of age.

Your membership is personal, non-transferable, and subject to these Membership Terms. Amiko & Friends enforces a limit of one membership per individual, and you may only use the Service to purchase products for your own household.

Sharing membership credentials or allowing unauthorized individuals to use the membership is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of the membership.

We have implemented different spend caps depending on your membership level. This means that your total purchases within a 12-month period should not exceed this limit. Please be aware that this spend cap is subject to change in the future as we introduce new membership levels or make other modifications to the membership structure.

We strive to provide our members with the best possible experience, and these changes may include adjustments to spending limits to accommodate evolving membership features and benefits. Rest assured that any changes will be communicated to you in advance to ensure transparency and clarity regarding your membership privileges.

3. Membership Plans
Amiko & Friends offers three different membership plans with the option to pay monthly or annually. With these memberships, you get access to purchase products from the Amiko & Friends website. The memberships includes a 12-month lock-in period, during which you cannot terminate the membership, and it will automatically renew for another 12 months unless cancelled.

Payment
We use Stripe as payment services. For detailed information, please refer to Stripe Payment Terms [LINK].

We accept the following payment methods via Stripe:

All membership payments will be charged in EUR (Euro). Please be aware that any charges or penalties imposed by the payment provider as a result of processing your payment for the order are not the responsibility of Amiko & Friends.

Monthly Payments
If you have a monthly subscription, the subscription cost will be charged monthly. The initial payment will occur on the day you sign up for the Service. Subsequent payments will be processed on the same date each month. For instance, if you sign up and pay for the Service on January 1st, the second payment will be made on February 1st, and so on.

Annual Payments
If you have an annual subscription, you will be charged a one-time fee on the day you sign up for your membership.

Please note that certain payment methods may incur additional fees. If applicable, these fees will be displayed in your subscription details prior to making a purchase.

Trial-membership
By accepting and activating a trial membership invitation, you agree to the following terms: During the trial membership period, you can shop for a maximum total value of €125. The trial membership is valid for a maximum of 30 days from the date of activation and limited to one per household. After the 30-day trial period ends, your shopping privileges will be suspended, regardless of how much you have spent. Once your trial membership has concluded, you are welcome to register for one of our standard memberships to continue enjoying our services.

4. Modification to the service and prices
The prices of our products may change without prior notice. We retain the right to modify or terminate the Service (or any portion or content of it) at any time, without notice. We shall not be held liable to you or any third party for any changes in prices, modifications, suspensions, or discontinuations of the Service.

We strive to provide a wide range of products for our members. However, product availability is subject to availability from our suppliers and may vary. We make our best efforts to ensure a diverse and exciting selection of products, but there may be instances where certain items are temporarily out of stock or discontinued.

5. Products
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis.

We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

We have taken utmost care to accurately display the colors and images of our products on the store. However, please note that we cannot guarantee the precise color accuracy on your computer monitor.

6. Term and termination
Amiko & Friends membership plans are valid for a duration of 12 months starting from the day you sign up. At the end of this 12-month period, your membership will be automatically renewed unless you decide to cancel it. You can cancel your membership by accessing the “My Account” section and navigating to “Subscription.” and click “cancel”. Or reaching out to us directly at hello@amikoandfriends.com.

Please note that if you have opted for the yearly payment option, it’s important to cancel your membership before the start of the new period to avoid being charged for the upcoming year.

If you have selected the monthly billing option and decide to cancel your membership before the completion of the initial 12-month period, please note that you will still be billed for the remaining months until the end of the 12-month period.

7. Right of withdrawal, exchanges, and other rights

Withdrawal:
According to Swedish Consumer Law, the purchase of the Service does not grant you the right of withdrawal. This is because the Service is immediately fulfilled upon granting you access to purchase products based on your membership.

However, we offer our members the option to withdraw their purchase of the Service by submitting a notice to Amiko & Friends within 14 days from the date of signing up. Please note that in order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must return any purchased products in the same condition in which they were received.

If you send an email, we will confirm receipt of your notice. Please always use the email address associated with your account when communicating with us. It is recommended to keep a copy of your cancellation notification for your records.

Refund related to the right of withdrawal:
If you decide to withdraw your purchase of the Service in accordance with the terms described in this section 7, Amiko & Friends will refund the amount you paid and cancel any future payments for your membership. We will also provide a refund for any products you have purchased. Please be aware that you are responsible for the cost of returning any purchased products, and Amiko & Friends will not reimburse you for the shipping expenses.

Amiko & Friends will process the refund within 14 days after receiving your notice of withdrawal, provided that we have received the purchased products or evidence of their shipment. The refund will be issued using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, unless you explicitly agree to an alternative method. No additional charges will be applied if a different payment method is used.

8. Refusal, Suspension or Termination of Membership
We have the authority to restrict, suspend, or terminate your membership and access to the service without prior notice if we determine that you have violated these Membership Terms, any other service rules, or applicable laws. Amiko & Friends also reserves the right to review your member account if there are suspicions of service abuse.

Furthermore, we retain the right to decline membership at our discretion, which may include considering any previous breaches of the Membership Terms.

The Amiko & Friends membership is exclusively meant for personal use, allowing purchases for yourself and your household’s usage. It is important to note that buying products with the intention of selling them to third parties is strictly prohibited under the membership terms.

If we have reasonable suspicion that a member is engaging in the sale of products to third parties, we reserve the right to cancel their membership. Our aim is to ensure that the membership remains focused on personal enjoyment and not commercial resale activities.

9. Provisions Severability
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. Instead, the invalid terms will be replaced with other terms that serve the same purpose and intent as these Terms and Conditions.

10. Governing Law
The governing law for these Terms and Conditions is Sweden. All disputes related to these Terms and Conditions will be exclusively referred to the district court of Stockholm as the court of first instance, except where prohibited or in relation to any statutory rights for consumers.
